CBRN Training Team

2nd CBRN Military Training Team in Operation Inherent Resolve on the territory of Iraq.

Mandate:

The deployment of the CBRN Detachment - Military Training Team on the territory of the Republic of Iraq for the period of three six-month rotations has been in compliance with resolutions of the Czech Government and both chambers of Parliament dated October 2016.

Location:

• Al-Taji Base, Iraq

Commander:

• 1st Lieutenant Frantisek Chudej, MSc.

The core of the Training Team is formed by instructors of Czech Chemical Corps.

The total size of the Team is 21 specialists from the 31st Regiment of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Protection, home base in Liberec.

Deployment: 7/2018 - 2/2019.

The major task of the Team are advisory and mentoring activites during operations training of Iraqi Armed Forces' chemical specialists in the field of protection from weapons of mass destruction.
