Military History Institute Prague

  • Is a museum, scientific research and library facility of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.
  • Its mission is, within the meaning of the legislative provisions in force, to continually and purposefully collect written and material artifacts, in particular those linked with the history of the Czech and Czechoslovak military and army.
  • It takes care of and scientifically examines these funds and collections.
  • It processes and makes the collections and archives available to the public.
