NATO Defence Ministers discussed Russian invasion of Ukraine, strengthening the Alliance’s defence posture

On Wednesday 16 March 2022, Defence Minister Jana Černochová took part in the extraordinary meeting of NATO Defence Ministers in Brussels. The meeting’s key outcome was the condemnation of the Russian invasion and a demonstration of the unified Allied support to Ukraine.
Government endorsed donation of military medical materiel to Ukraine

On Wednesday 2 March 2022, the Government of the Czech Republic endorsed another donation to Ukraine based on proposal by Defence Minister Jana Černochová. This time the donation comprised medical materiel from the stocks of the Czech Armed Forces, specifically medical kits, CLS backpacks, folding stretchers, medical absorbent fabric, medicaments and various consumable medical materiel in the total value of CZK 20.885 million.
