    Czechs join Trident Juncture 2018 in Norway

    On October 22nd, Czech ground air defence personnel from the 25th Air Defence Missile Regiment, after unloading vehicles and equipment at the Norwegian port of Fredrikstad, joined forces with the German 9th Armour Brigade to take part in the allied Trident Juncture 2018 exercise.

    The final phase of the ‘Touches of Statehood’ exhibition was completed on October 5th by the attendance of President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman who officiated the opening at Prague Castle Riding School.

    Approximately two hundred paratroopers from the 43rd Airborne Battalion, based in Chrudim, were invited by the 173rd U.S. Airborne Brigade to participate in the Sabre Junction 2018 international exercise which is being held at the Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Joint International Training Command, Germany, from September 17th to October 1st.

    The Czech contingent of the enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group in Lithuania returned on the 3rd September to the base in Rukla after taking part in the Namejs exercise in Latvia alongside approximately ten thousand participants from 13 NATO countries.
