    It is with great sorrow that the Ministry of Defence must confirm the deaths of Staff Sergeant Martin Marcin (1982), Corporal Kamil Benes (1990), and Corporal Patrik Stepanek (1993) who were killed close to Bagram Airfield, Parwan province, Afghanistan, on Sunday 5 August.

    Soldiers from the 252nd battalion, 25th Air Defence Missile Regiment, based at Strakonice, this week completed their annual live-fire combat exercise at the Hradiste (Doupov) Military Training Area after firing off five dozen missiles.
