Chemists in Liberec acquire ultra-modern laboratory

The 31st Regiment of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Protection, based in Liberec, last week received a specially manufactured mobile laboratory with cutting edge technologies. The laboratory was funded by the United States Army Europe (USAREUR) and delivered by Brigadier General Dawne Deskins, its Deputy Commander, as part of a project to support the capabilities of foreign armed forces. The laboratory cost CZK 160 million.

V4 Chiefs of Defence meet in Poland

The meeting of the Chiefs of General Staff of the Visegrad (V4) countries, Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, primarily concentrated on the implementation of the NATO Warsaw Summit 2016 conclusions, particularly in relation to defence support in the Baltic regions from 2017 - 2021.

Exercise Sky Soldier II. Paratroopers seize Hradcany airfield

At the coordination exercise, Sky Soldier II, held from 26th–30th September at Ralsko-Hradcany area, Czech and American airborne troops carried out several air drops and, conducting “close air support”, “took back” the airfield, facilities and the adjacent area occupied by the “enemy”.
