    Representatives of the Defence Committees of the Czech Parliament and National Council of the Slovak Republic, who met at the 21st Tactical Air Force Base at Caslav last week, agreed that their mutual cooperation in air defence and joint training will continue.

    A four-day military multi-event competition, Winter Survival 2015, held last week at the Hruby Jesenik Mountains, tested the physical abilities and decision-making skills of 14 Czech and three international three-member teams in overcoming track obstacles, testing survival skills, and typical military expertise such as firing arms or grenade launching.

    The personnel of the 3rd Guard Company, who have already served more than one hundred days at the Bagram Air Field, have begun organising joint patrols with the Afghans guarding the largest Resolute Support base in Afghanistan, consequently establishing stronger professional relations with the units of the Afghan National Army (ANA).

    The House of Deputies, and the Senate of the Czech Parliament approved the dissolution bill for the Brdy Military Region, and the downsizing of the Libava, Boletice, Hradiste and Brezina Military Regions. The bill will come into effect on 1st January 2016, when it is agreed and signed by the President of the Czech Republic.
