The Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre Council of Directors session held in Prague 14 to 15 January outlined development of joint logistic support for future operations and started a planning process of Exercise Capable Logistician 2015 which will be held in Hungary.
Minister honours service dog Athos

Minister of Defence Vlastimil Picek visited the Military Cynology Centre at Chotyne this week to honour dog Athos for service in Afghanistan where it was seriously injured in September 2012.
Government sells L-159 subsonics

At its sessison this week, the Czech government approved sale of 28 subsonic L-159 ALCA aircraft to US Draken International company while discussion over prolonged lease of Sweden-made SAAB 39 Gripen supersonic aircraft postponed until a new Czech government is formed.
