1st ACR Contingent - ISAF HELI UNIT, Paktika Province, Afghanistan

The Czech contingent serves in Paktika Province as the Task Force HIPPO and is part of the American helicopter Task Force FALCON, which is commanded by Colonel Donald N. Galli. The units fulfil transportation tasks in favour of commander of the ISAF Regional Command East.

Size of the Contingent: 110 personnel, including 20 flying personnel

Major equipment: three upgraded Mi-171S helicopters

The Contingent is located at the Forward Operation Base Sharana in the Paktika Province.
