Czech Military Police Contribution to Coalition Forces in Iraq

At the beginning of January 2007, the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic concluded their training mission of Iraqi Police Force at the Shaibah base close to Basra. The mission, in which 12 contingents of Czech Military Police rotated, began in December 2003.

The average size of MP contingents was 93 policemen, since the Czech Parliament endorsed a size up to 100 personnel.
