7th ACR Unit - ISAF HELI UNIT, Paktika Province, Afghanistan
This unit was the last one of seven helicopter units, whose personnel served from December 2009 till December 2011 at the Sharana Base in the Paktika Province together with American and Portugese soldiers.
All three helicopters returned back to the Czech Republic in November 2011 and the last part of personnel arrived home on 14 December 2011.
The Czech 7th ACR Unit serves in the Paktika Province as the Task Force HIPPO and is part of the American Helicopter Task Force FALCON. Both formations fulfil transportation tasks and observation missions in favour of commander of the ISAF Regional Command East.

Deployment: September 2011 - December 2011
Size of the Unit: 99 personnel, including 21 flying personnel.
Major equipment: three upgraded Mil Mi-171S helicopters.
The commander of the unit assumed operational task at the end of August 2011 to serve with his personnel in Paktika till December 2011.
The Unit is located at the US Forward Operation Base Sharana in the Paktika Province.
This 7th Unit is the last one operating in Afghanistan witin ISAF in accordance with the Czech Parliament mandate: December 2009 - December 2011.
