South Korea: Partner for the Czech Republic, Europe and NATO

As illustrated by South Korea and the Czech Republic’s close partnership in developing the Czech nuclear industry, the two countries have a great potential for cooperation. It is not limited solely to industry as it also encompasses defence and security, Defence Minister Jaromír Zůna commented during his business trip to Seoul. He attended a meeting with representatives of local defence industries, took part in a discussion at the security forum Seoul Defense Dialogue and met with his Korean counterpart, Ahn Gyu-back.
Minister Zůna met with Moldovan Defence Minister in Prague

Defence Minister Jaromír Zůna met with his Moldovan counterpart Minister Anatolie Nosatîi. They primarily discussed future options for pursuing joint efforts in military training and education. The meeting was a follow-up on Minister Zůna’s visit to Chişinău in May during which both representatives confirmed their interest in strengthening defence cooperation between the Czech Republic and Moldova.

Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna visited Chișinău, where he met with his Moldovan counterpart, Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, during an official visit. They discussed options of further development of the cooperation between the two countries and current security matters. The Defence Ministers have honoured the memory of the fallen soldiers at the local Czechoslovak Legionaries Memorial.
